Introduction to Clay Modeling
The sculpture course introduces clay modeling through a progressive program that guides students from the basics to the creation of complex forms. We start with bas-relief, to understand structure and proportions, up to sculpture in the round.
Techniques, Anatomy, and Armature Construction
During the course, essential elements of sculptural practice are addressed: armature construction, the study of anatomy, and the method for understanding volumes and weights. Depending on the duration of the program, students can also create a plaster cast of the modeled sculpture.
Duration and Methods
The program requires a minimum duration of one week, but can extend for longer periods, a choice particularly recommended because sculpture is a slower and more demanding discipline.
There are 3 levels available:
- Beginner
- Intermediate
- Advanced
Students are assigned to the appropriate level on the first day.
Registration and Certificate
Registration takes place online or directly at the studio, with an initial deposit of 150 euros. A certificate of participation can be issued upon request (not government-recognized).
The course represents a solid foundation for those wishing to deepen traditional sculptural techniques or integrate sculpture into a broader artistic journey.
Materials are always included in sculpture courses.
