Drawing Course
This course begins with an introduction to the main drawing techniques. It focuses in particular on the sight-size method and constructive drawing, helping students accurately measure proportions with their tools and draw both from life and from imagination.
The Foundations of Academic Drawing
The drawing course is designed especially for beginners and for those who wish to establish solid foundations in realistic drawing. The goal is to learn to observe correctly, understand proportions, and represent objects credibly.Proportions, Construction, and Chiaroscuro
During the course, students work both from life and from images, learning two fundamental methods: sight-size drawing and constructive drawing. Various tools are used – charcoal, pencil, pen, and sanguine – on various types of paper, white and colored. Particular attention is dedicated to chiaroscuro, both in the blended version and in the hatching technique, to learn to render volume, depth, and texture.Beginner Drawing and Painting Course
The course provides our students with a combination of drawing and painting lessons, offering the opportunity to learn both disciplines at the same time. In this way, students can better understand how the two practices work together and progress in both.
Portraiture Course
Portrait painting is particularly compelling because faces are among the most expressive subjects in art. For the painting component, we will use oil paints. We will study the variety of skin tones, subtle color transitions, and how to render facial details realistically.
Figure Drawing and Painting Course
The goal of this intensive course is to teach our students how to realistically represent the figure through drawing and painting. Drawing lessons include sketching body movement and learning shading techniques to express form.
Duration and Levels

The program has a minimum duration of one week and can be taken in intensive form (full day) or semi-intensive (morning only). The level is defined on the first day to allow each person to advance gradually.
Classes are held exclusively in person in our Florence art studio.
At the end of the course, upon request, you can receive a certificate of participation, useful as proof of artistic training.
