This course offers a step-by-step program that includes both portrait drawing methods and portrait painting techniques. To make the learning process simple and effective, we begin by introducing portrait drawing techniques.

The main topics covered in the lessons are:
How to measure facial proportions to accurately represent a person’s character.
Head anatomy and the study of facial expressions.
Rendering details and creating a realistic portrait through shading techniques.

As students progress, they move on to portrait painting lessons. In this second phase of the course, students learn the techniques used to create expressive and realistic oil portraits.

The topics covered in the painting lessons include:
How to paint facial details realistically.
How to choose the appropriate color palette and set up the composition in an oil portrait.

The course concludes with the creation of a personal project or a self-portrait.

We accept new students every Monday. Drawing materials are included in the course price. Oil painting materials are at the student’s expense.

Classes take place from Monday to Friday. Semi-intensive courses run from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Intensive courses run from 10:00am to 1:00pm and from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
