Still Life Painting Course

Still life compositions have been present in art since the Egyptian and Roman eras. During the Renaissance, painters created still lifes to explore the natural world. A still life composition can include a variety of subjects, such as flowers, food, instruments, and other inanimate objects. We believe that painting still lifes helps students develop a better understanding of proportions, shading, depth, and color.

Our Still Life Painting Course explores this genre through the Sight-Size and Comparative measuring methods. We recommend this course for beginners.

All drawing materials are provided by the studio, while painting materials are at the student’s expense.
